Season 2: Pregame

After last year’s critically acclaimed event, Survivor Branford is back!  This season known as Survivor Branford:  Second Chance was inspired by the idea to give players from last season another opportunity to play and hopefully improve upon their game.  Seven castaways from last season returned, each with different motivations for doing so.  For example:
-       Amanda:  Could she make sure to keep her allies under control and in the loop?  "Over-communicate"  Amanda said.  " That's the name of the game."
-       Steve:  Could he play the game from more of a leadership standpoint and make it to the end again, this time with a better pitch to the jury?
-       Josh:  Could he play just as strategic a game without being everyone’s biggest target late in the game?  "All I want is another chance at redemption"  Josh declared.

Also, last season’s winner Angela made a return looking to prove that her victory was no fluke!  Noting last year's win along with the $1,000,000 (minus $999,880) prize Angela stated that "I don't really need the money anymore so I'll be donating my winnings to charity when I win again."

Those seven returning players were paired with five all new players looking to take their shot at becoming the sole survivor!

Pregame hype

All 12 gathered in Branford, CT on the afternoon of August 29th after weeks of anticipation.  After pleasantries were exchanged, the tribes were separated and it was game on!

Once production was ready to begin, each tribe was ushered off to take their publicity photos.  The crew spared no expenses as a world class cameraman was hired to record all of the action.  Also, Jeff was brought in to host!  The Mattabesset tribe which wears orange consists of:
-       Rachel:  a 23 year old rapper from the Outer Banks, North Carolina
-       Steve:  a 29 year old Crimean from New York, New York
-       Meredith:  a 21 year old hippie from San Francisco, California
-       Jim:  a 29 year old professional gamer from Hamden, Connecticut
-       Danielle:  a 24 year old world traveler from McDonough, Georgia
-       Dennis:  a 26 year old construction worker from Jersey City, New Jersey

The opposing tribe known as Saltonstall which wears blue consists of:
-       Autumn: a 17 year old student from Cottage #22
-       Rob:  a 24 year old professional skateboarder from Portland, Oregon
-       Angela:  a 24 year old actress, model, and designer from Warwick, Rhode Island
-       Mark: a 30 year old opera singer currently residing in Milan, Italy
-       Amanda:  a 26 year old camp counselor from Wheaton, Illinois
-       Josh:  a 26 year old high income match maker from Los Angeles, California
